You can watch the full fight video highlights of Zhilei Zhang and Joe Joyce from their main event battle. It happened on April 15th at the Copper Box Arena in London, England. Joe Joyce (15-1) was putting up his WBO interim heavyweight champion belt, while Zhilei Zhang (25-1-1) was challenging him for it. At the start of round 1, both fighters stuck their lead hands out but didn’t make any powerful hits. Zhang was the first to throw a strong punch, and it landed. Joyce soon found himself being hit by very hard shots from Zhang! This is not something that happened when fighting Joe Parker. Soon after, Zhang punched a body shot at Joyce who stood stiffly and missed his moves. Zhang managed to win this round 10-9.
At the beginning of Round 2, Joyce threw some jabs while Zhang combated him with a swift 1-2 combination which shook Joyce. Then came a BIG LEFT punch from Zhang that seriously hurt Joyce. The referee Howard Foster interfered in order to give Joyce time to recover. While Zhang kept missing with his left hand blows, Joyce tried his best to take control of the fight. Now it remains to be seen whether or not they will go into the second half of this match as we all know that due to past problems, Zhang might not have sufficient stamina for longer rounds!
