Israel Adesanya had an amazing victory at the UFC 287. He was already very successful in fighting before being part of the main event against Alex Pereira, but he topped it off with a powerful second-round knockout. For example, Gilbert Burns sent Jorge Masvidal into retirement, Rob Font won a knockout against Adrian Yanez to keep his place in the bantamweight rankings, Kevin Holland beat Santiago Ponzinibbio who is an experienced welterweight player and Kelvin Gastelum returned to the games with a narrow decision win over Chris Curtis.
Joe Pyfer and Steve Garcia performed great knockouts, Christian Rodriguez beat Raul Rosas Jr. in an upset, and Luana Pinheiro, who is on the rise as a strawweight fighter, won her match against Michelle Waterson-Gomez by winning the judges’ decision.
