On June 10th, two female fighters, Maria Oliveira and Diana Belbita, will face-off at UFC 289. The UFC hasn’t said where this fight will take place. Oliveira is an experienced fighter from RIZIN and Dana White’s Contender Series but hasn’t been very successful in the UFC with only 1 win in 3 matches.
The PRVT athlete was victorious in a split decision over Gloria de Paula, but she lost two fights against Tabatha Ricci and Vanessa Demopoulos. Belbita (14-7) hasn’t competed since February 2022 after her fight with Loma Lookboonmee was cancelled. “The Warrior Princess” has had four fights in the UFC, with one of them ending as a win for her against Hannah Goldy back in 2021.
