Burns has been an important part of the welterweight class since 2019. He is an excellent Brazilian jiu-jitsu fighter and he has a 6-2 record in this weight class, meaning that he only lost two matches in this category: one against Kamaru Usman for the title, and another really exciting match against Khamzat Chimaev in 2022. After his defeat against Chimaev, Burns won a fight against Neil Magny earlier this year (January). Now he wants to compete again for the title.
Masvidal is one of the biggest stars in the UFC and a hero in his hometown! He’s on a three-match losing streak and needs to win soon if he wants to keep playing at 170 pounds. Otherwise, he might even quit the sport altogether! Watch live below as Masvidal competes in the UFC 287 co-main event.
