Sergei Pavlovich and Curtis Blaydes will face each other in a really important fight on April 22nd, at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas. The poster for this event has just been released, with Pavlovich and Blaydes taking center stage. This is understandable since the fight is so important to both of them.
The two fighters who will be fighting in the main event have both been on quite a winning streak. Blaydes has won three fights in a row, including his last two matches against Tom Aspinall and Chris Daukaus. Overall, he has gone 7-1 in his last eight fights, with only one loss to Derrick Lewis this year.
Pavlovich has yet to lose a match in the UFC ever since his very first game against Alistair Overeem. Amazingly, he won all five matches after that with spectacular knockouts of Lewis, Tai Tuivasa, and Shamil Abdurakhimov every single time!
The winner of the fight between Pavlovich and Blaydes might decide who will get to face heavyweight champ Jon Jones later this year. There are lots of cool fights we can look forward to watch in UFC Vegas 71 including the co-main event where Song Yadong takes on Ricky Simon, and Bobby Green is back to fight Jared Gordon as part of the main card too.
