Magomedov starts moving backward, looking uncomfortable, while Strickland continues to press forward. Strickland corners Magomedov, unleashing combos that back him into every corner. Magomedov appears exhausted and lacks the footwork to escape. Strickland keeps the pressure on, landing more combos along the fence. Magomedov is visibly tired and seems to want a way out. Mark Smith warns Magomedov, who is gassed but still hanging in there. Strickland intensifies his assault, not even increasing the pace significantly. Strickland lands a powerful right hand that drops Magomedov to the canvas. Strickland follows up with a series of right hands, prompting the referee to step in and stop the fight. Strickland secures the victory with a second-round TKO at 4:20.
