Brendan Allen will get what he wants, with a fight against Jack Hermansson set to be the main attraction at an upcoming UFC event on June 3. Several people close to the events confirmed the news to MMA Fighting on Thursday, which was originally reported by ESPN.

After Allen (21-5) won a surprise match against Andre Muniz, he asked for a fight with Hermansson (23-8). This win was so impressive that it pushed Allen up to the 13th spot in the MMA Fighting Rankings. Out of all his opponents, Muniz is the only one to have ever been defeated by Allen – and this makes his current winning streak four matches in a row.

34-year-old Hermansson has been doing pretty good in the rankings lately, but has lost some of his recent fights. He’s scored victories over big names such as Kelvin Gastelum, Edmen Shahbazyan, and Chris Curtis. On the other hand, he also got defeated by Jared Cannonier, Marvin Vettori, Sean Strickland and most recently Roman Dolidze.

So far, there isn’t a place chosen for the UFC Fight Night on June 3, although some fights have been set for that day. One of the top matches is Miesha Tate coming back to fight Mayra Bueno Silva and they are both at 135 pounds weight level.
