Bo Nickal has been chosen to fight in the UFC’s biggest event of 2021. He is going to fight Tresean Gore at UFC 290 on July 8th in Las Vegas, which will be a part of International Fight Week. People close to the situation have confirmed that this fight is happening.
Nickal won a UFC contest which helped him earn a contract. His first match on the UFC was in March and he defeated Jamie Pickett using an arm-triangle choke. He has not gone past three minutes in any of his four professional wins at the start of his career.
Gore will be taking part in his fourth UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) competition. He made it as a finalist on season 29 of The Ultimate Fighter and he lost his first two fights. However, he managed to bounce back with an impressive second-round win by using the ‘guillotine choke’ technique against Josh Fremd at UFC’s Vegas 63 event last October.
The main event of the upcoming UFC 290 will be a match to decide who is the featherweight champion between Alexander Volkanovski and Yair Rodriguez.
