The third episode of the show “DAMN! They Were Good” is all about celebrating the amazing career of MMA fighter Benson Henderson. He used to be a champion in UFC and WEC lightweight divisions, and this episode will pay tribute to him.

Ben Henderson started his MMA career in 2006 and became popular for his thrilling fights, including two Fights of the Year in 2009 and 2010. He was the UFC Lightweight Champion from 2012 to 2013 and defended it three times. In 2013, he lost the title to Anthony Pettis, but still remained an important fighter in both lightweight and welterweight divisions. Later he left UFC to join Bellator, challenging for championships thrice during his stint there.

This month, the popular MMA fighter Henderson retired after losing a match against Usman Nurmagomedov. To remember his career, Bellator Lightweight Grand Prix hosted this event with Jed Meshew and Shaheen Al-Shatti and Mike Heck to look back on their favorite moments involving Henderson. Everyone called him “Smooth” and he was one of the most respected champions in the lightweight division.
