Ben Rothwell will fight Josh “Cuddly Bear” Copeland on April 29th at the BKFC 41 event in Denver. This matchup was announced Monday, since the opponent he was going to face before (Josh Watson) was unable to make it due to injury. Josh Watson is famous for knocking out ex-NFL player and UFC veteran Greg Hardy in February.
Copeland has previously participated in the UFC, World Series of Fighting, and PFL. His last MMA match was in 2019, but he will be making his second appearance on BKFC this October, where he scored a knockout win over Levi Costa. Just recently, he was booked to have another match against Rothwell at BKFC 41, which is a big bump up the card for him!
At BKFC 41, there will be two amazing fights with two former champions. Luke Rockhold (ex-UFC champion) will be in the main event against Mike Perry and Eddie Alvarez will fight Chad Mendes in the co-main event. You can watch it on pay-per-view for just $49.99.
