Arnold Allen lost his first UFC match on Saturday against former champion Max Holloway. Even though he didn’t win, Arnold was still happy and posted a picture with Holloway after the fight. Judges gave holloway the points to win by scoring him 49-46 and 48-47.

After the fight, Allen wrote that it was an honour to share the cage (fighting area) with Max Holloway and that, unfortunately, he couldn’t beat him. He earned the fight against Holloway due to his streak of 10 wins in a row. Although Allen landed some powerful punches on Holloway during their five-round match, none were strong enough to make Max give up.

Holloway had a great fight against Allen, outstriking him 149 to 80 and landing 147 significant strikes compared with Allen’s 76. The win helped Holloway bounce back after his last loss to Alexander Volkanovski.

At the post-event interview, UFC President Dana White said he wasn’t happy with how Allen’s team didn’t act fast enough when Holloway was taking control of the match.
