Gabriel Silva, who is the son of a soon-to-be famous UFC fighter Anderson Silva, was successful in his first ever boxing match which took place in California.
The 25-year-old fought against Angelo Thompson at Hollywood Fight Nights and he won the match 39-36, 38-37, and 39-36 according to three judges.
This made Angelo Thompson lose his seventh professional boxing match.
Gabriel Silva took part in a match after his loss in a kickboxing tournament last November. His father, Anderson Silva who was celebrating his 48th birthday on that day, accompanied him and was really pleased with the result. He said, “I’m really happy because Gabriel is doing so well here in L.A. This success is for everyone watching us tonight.”
